Kisaku Matsushima

Background

Kisaku was born in 1892, in Akashi City, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan.

Career

Entered Japan Industrial Bank and after steady advance in a position finally became director of the same bank. Left Industrial Bank and accepted appointment as president of Daiwa Securities Association. Elected once to House of Councilors and after serving as chairman of Political Affairs Research Committee was appointed Vice-Speaker. Serves as director of New Japan Marine Transportation Company.
