In 1908, Goko Kiyoshi graduated from Tokyo University.
After graduating from university, he entered Mitsubishi Concern and served successively as president of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Company and president of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Association.
Goko Kiyoshi figured as a leader of heavy industries of our country during period of so-called new-system economy. Because of his previous record as adviser to Tojo Cabinet, he was held as war criminal suspect after war. In 1952, after being released from prison, Goko Kiyoshi assumed his present posts.
