Suzuki Kiyoshi was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, 1906.
Graduated from Tokyo Bunrika Daigaku (College of Literature and Science) (1936).
He became professor at Tokyo Higher Normal School (1945) and then professor at Tamagawa University. He was appointed professor at the State University of Yokohama (1949).
Concurrently, he was a director of the Japan Psychological Society, director of the Japan Society of Applied Psychology and director of the Tanaka Pedagogic Research Institute.
