Quotes from others about the person
Alexander Zolotykh, honored artist of the Russian Federation: "His work is permeated with some kind of sadness. A nondescript sort of landscape, and special. Like Tarkovsky's. It hurts so much. Some memories. It is impossible to break away from the picture. Amazing subtlety in color, in the music of the landscape."
Sergey Gulevsky, Director of the Voronezh art school: "He is somewhere here (points to the heart). His works are close to me, we traveled together, worked together. I always distinguish him. Sketches, finished things. Grace, mood, freedom. A wonderful painter and a very good teacher."
