Kosaburo Ishikura graduated from German Literature Course of Tokyo University (1904), studied at Berlin University.
Career
Kosaburo Ishikura served successively as professor of Tokyo Academy of Music (from 1907), 4th Higher School, 7th Higher School and 8th Higher School and as director of Kochi Higher School and Osaka Higher School. He was president of non-governmental Osaka College of Science and Engineering (from 1942 to 1946). Kosaburo Ishikura became director of Music Department of Soai Women’s Junior College at Osaka (1951).
