Kotaro Shiono graduated from Kobe Commercial University (1934).
Career
Kotaro Shiono entered Shionogi Pharmaceutical Company and became director and chief of Business Department, senior managing director (1941), chief of General Affairs Department and then president (1953). Served also as member of Osaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry, as director of Kansai Headquarters of Japan United Nations Association and as official of a few other organizations. Made inspection tour of Europe and America (1952).
He held additional posts of member of Kansai Employers' Association and secretary of Keizai Doyukai (Economic Friends' Society).
