Barretto appeared in a Bangladeshi advertisement for Pepsi, in the music video Behka by SQS Supastars and in many dance related promos. Barretto started her television career by acting in episodic shows including Heroes, The Fightback Files and Yeh Hai Aashiqui on the Bindass channel. Her debut show was the popular Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan on Music Television in which she portrays the glam girl Alya Saxena.
In this show she was part of a copy cat scene inspired by the Bollywood movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
She also appeared in two episodes of Warrior High on Music Television as Alya Saxena and in an episode of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya on Zing as the female lead character. Krissann is now seen Hosting Music Television Campus Diaries.
She was also seen in a latest Episode of Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya Season 7. Apart from this, She is also one of the Lead Characters of the Hip Hip Hurray sequel announced by Music Television.
