Kuniomi Yokota was born on September 14, 1850 in Japan.
Kuniomi Yokota was sent to Europe to study Court procedures in 1886.
A former retainer of Shimabara Clan. Kuniomi Yokota was appointed public procurator (1876). Upon return from Europe was appointed procurator of Court of Appeals and also lecturer on penal code at Tokyo University. He was vice-minister of Justice Ministry (1896) and rendered distinguished services in revising and enforcement of civil and penal codes. Later was vice-chief of Tokyo Court of Appeals, public procurator-general and president of Supreme Court.
