Kwok Tong Chau, Chinese Electrical engineering educator, researcher. Achievements include contributions to the development of permanent-magnet brushless drives for electric vehicles; developed mixed-signal simulators for electric vehicles; invention of the resonant inductor freewheeling technique for power converters; invention of nonlinear modeling for power electronics circuits; application of neuro-fuzzy control to ultrasonic motors.
