Education
As the second daughter of sculptor Fumio Asakura, she studied at home instead of receiving ordinary school education, and has kept contributing her works to the Arts Exhibitions since her first work "Hope" was ac-cepted at tfie fifth Arts Exhibition in 1942.
Career
She became one of the judges at the Japan Arts Exhibition in 1952.
