From 1958 to 1960, author L. Harold DeWolf served as theological consultant to the Curriculum Study Committee, National Council of the Churches of Christ in the USA. The early chapters of this book include material prepared for papers presented to the Curriculum Committee, while later chapters are based on lectures presented at the University of the Pacific in 1960, and DePauw University in 1961. Clearly having a passion for Christian Education, DeWolf takes pains throughout to describe how Christian messages and doctrines are best communicated to and discussed with a diverse audience, including both adults and children. An excellent resource for any library, clergy or laity alike.
