Career
Folger began competing in beauty pageants when she was five years old. Folger was crowned Mission Boston 2009, which earned her a spot in the Mission Massachusetts pageant. She competed on a platform dubbed "Sharing the Power of a Wish" for her work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and performed a song during the talent judging.
She represented her state in the Mission United States of America 2011 pageant in June 2011.
Oddsmakers from the Wynn Las Vegas casino placed Folger"s chance of winning the competition at 100–1. Folger did not place among the Top 16 finalists.
Folger was born in Farmington, New Hampshire, to Tammy and Richard Folger, Junior. She is the youngest of four siblings, including three older brothers.
Folger attended Farmington Elementary and Henry Wilson Memorial School in Farmington.
She is a 2006 graduate of Seacoast Christian High School in South Berwick, Maine. As a graduate student, she was named the Elizabeth Wold Alumni Scholar and the Betsy Wilson Endowed Visiting Health Lecturer and Student Scholar. She received her master"s degree from Wheelock College in May 2011.
