My wife Annemarie and I, Dietrich were friends of William and Martha Ittelson.

Together with William I organized the Conference "Enviro nmental Assessment of Socioeconomic Systems" in Istanbul, Turkey, October 4-8, 1976.

In the following years we visted each other in Tucson, Arizona, USA and Munich-Deisenhofen, Bavaria, Germany.

In the following years we stayed in contact by phone and mails..
