Since 2004 he worked at the United Nations Human-Animal Disaster Issues Working Group. He was a lecturer in the field, board consultant, portrait painter, ceramic artist. He served with United States Army from 1969 to 1972.
Larry married to Elee E. Erice on January 17, 1981. He married to Nancy Catherine Watford. They have a child: Nicholas Watford.
