Laura Intravia, also known as Flute Link, is an American instrumentalist, vocalist, and arranger.
Background
Intravia was born and raised on Long Island, New New York As a child, she enjoyed video game music Since video game soundtrack albums were not yet popular or readily available, she began transcribing music in a simple notation program on her father"s computer.
Education
Intravia attended Ithaca College and graduated in 2009 with two Bachelor of Music degrees in Music Composition and Voice Performance.
Career
She is best known for her performances of video game music as a soloist with Live. By the time she began music theory classes in high school, she found that she excelled at dictation and ear-training exercises. Live Since 2009, Intravia has been an instrumental and vocal soloist for Live.
She appeared on the Live televised Public Broadcasting Service Special, performing on the "Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross Medley," which was released on the accompanying album Live: Level 2.
She also appeared on Level 3 and Level 4 as an arranger, as well as performer. Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions In August 2014, Intravia sang as a guest soloist at the world premiere of the new concert series Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions, an official Pokémon project produced by Princeton Entertainment.
The inaugural concerts were held in Washington District of Columbia, featuring Junichi Masuda as a guest conductor. She performed again the following month at the Mann Center.
