Since 1995, she has played with husband Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and drummer Frode Unneland in the group Savoy. In 1999 they had a son together, named True August Waaktaar-Savoy. The a-ha song "Angel In The Snow" was written for Lauren Savoy by Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and he played it to her on their wedding day.
Savoy has not released an album since 2007.
