Since 1995, she has played with husband Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and drummer Frode Unneland in the group Savoy. In 1999 they had a son together, named True August Waaktaar-Savoy. The a-ha song "Angel In The Snow" was written for Lauren Savoy by Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and he played it to her on their wedding day.
Savoy has not released an album since 2007.
Savoy appeared on the a-ha track "You"ll Never Get Over Maine" from the album Minor Earth Major Sky, providing backing vocals. She also has several co-writing credits on a-ha songs, including "Sycamore Leaves" and "The Sun Never Shone That Day".
