He played basketball at Rhode Island University from 1999-2003. Adingono coached the men"s national team at the 2007 and 2009 International Basketball Federation Africa Championships. From 2006 to 2009, Adingono was an assistant coach for the Canisius Golden Griffins.
In April 2009, Adingono resigned from Canisius two months after he was arrested on charges of using a belt to beat his 4-year-old son.
As of May 2012, Adingono has been the head coach of Angolan side Petro Atlético.
