Chairman of Grodno Oblast’ Selkhoztekhnika, 1961 — 62. Chairman of the Belorussian Association for Agricultural Technology, Belselkhoztekhnika, 1961-1971. Deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Belorussian SSR, 1971-1972 and 1976-1979.
1st Deputy USSR Minister of Agriculture, 1972-1976. Member of the Central Committee of the Belorussian CP, 1966-1972. Chairman of the USSR State Committee for the Supply of Production Equipment for
Agriculture, 1980.
Member of the Central Auditing Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, 1981. USSR Minister for Livestock Farming and Fodder Machinery from 1982 to July 1987, when he was removed from his post.
