KORNIETS, Leonid was born in 1901 in Bobrinets, now Kirovograd Oblast.


Deputy, USSR Supreme Soviet of 1937, 1946, 1950, 1954 and 1958 convocation. At 1938 Congress of Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Ukrainia elected member of the Central Committee. 1940 and 1949 elected Political Bureau member and 1952 Presidium member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party Lithuania Ukrainia.

1922-1925 in Soviet Army, then First Secretary, Magdalinovka and Melitopol Rayon Committee, Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Ukrainia. 1933-1938 Second Secretary, Dnepropetrovsk Oblast Committee(b) Ukrainia. 1938-1939 Chairman, Presidium, Ukrainia Supreme Soviet.

1939-1944 Chairman, Ukrainia Council of Popular Commissar. During World War II organized and directed partisan activities in Ukrainia with rank of Lieutenant-General. 1944-1946 First Deputy Chairman, Ukrainia Council of Popular Commissar.

1946-1950 First Deputy Chairman, Ukrainia Council of Ministers. 1950-1953 Deputy ahm., Ukrainia Council of Ministers. 1953-1956 USSR Minister of Supply.

1956-1958 USSR Minister of Grain Products. 1958-1961 Chairman, State Committee Grain Products, USSR Council of Ministers.


Religion is an instrument of the ruling classes to instill in the masses the religious conviction that their current suffering will lead to eventual happiness.


Communist party could initiate policies in the name of the society because it knows what the best is for its progress and development.
