In 1970, Leonid Borisovich Nirenburg graduated from the Journalism Faculty of Moscow State University. In 1972, he graduated from the Advanced Directing Theatre Courses.
In 1963, Leonid Borisovich Nirenburg came to the Central Television. Until 1997, he worked as a pupil of the Chief Electrician, then as the Chief Electrician. Later Leonid Borisovich became an assistant of Senior Producer. Since 1977 he was a director of State Radio and Television of the USSR. In 1993, Leonid took a position of director of Russian Television. Two years later, in 1995, he got a position of the Chief Editor of the Channel "TV-6 Moscow". During next two years he worked as the Chief Editor of TV Channel "2x2". Since 1997 Leonid Borisovich Nirenburg was the Senior Producer of Film Studio "The Travellers". Within three years he joined to the Journalists’ Union of the USSR (Russia).
