Leslie Parke Fairfield

Education

Leslie Fairfield studied at Princeton University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1962. He also attended Harvard University. In 1965 he received a Master of Arts degree and in 1969 a Doctor of Philosophy.

Career

Leslie Fairfield started his career as an assistant professor of history in 1969. In 1976 he became a professor of Church History at Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry. He also worked as an assistant dean for extension studies.

In 1976 Leslie Fairfield published John Bale: Mythmaker for the English Reformation. He was a contributor to academic journals, including Renaissance Quarterly and Journal of Ecclesiastical History.
