Lindsey is one of British Broadcasting Corporation Radio 5 Live"s travel reporters and has also worked on the British Broadcasting Corporation, CBBC and other British Broadcasting Corporation radio programmes. She has regularly covered the Netball Superleague for Sky Sports. In October 2012, along with 463 other players, Lindsey took part in British Broadcasting Corporation Radio 5 Live"s attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the ‘most players in a continuous 5 a side exhibition match’.
This was for British Broadcasting Corporation Children in Need along with former football player and television pundit Robbie Savage.
In August 2015, alongside Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, she hosted a series of five daily programmes, Big Blue United Kingdom, on British Broadcasting Corporation One, linked to three evening programmes Big Blue Live. The series concentrated on marine wildlife around the United Kingdom coast.
In January 2016 she co-hosted British Broadcasting Corporation Winterwatch Unsprung with Chris Packham, providing an interactive link between viewers and the programme via social media.
