Career
Lisa Cameron grew up in Westwood, East Kilbride, and was educated at East Milton Primary and Duncanrig Secondary School. She studied at Strathclyde University, graduating in psychology before obtaining her doctorate from Glasgow University. Before becoming an Member of Parliament, Cameron worked as a clinical psychologist in the National Health Service and as an assessor for the Scottish Risk Management Authority.
