Career

Gold's artwork both humorous and profound push boundaries of drawing into every artistic medium. Graphite sculpture emblematic of profound concept also draw. Paintings are etched with drawing.

Various editorial positions Conde Nast Publications, New York City, since 1980. Principal Born of Brush Studios, since 1981, mural commissions, color consultant since 1987. An exhibiting Contemporary Fine Artist since the early 1980's. Creative endeavors include innovative sculpture, drawing, painting and poetry.

Achievements

• Innovated the sculptural medium of solid graphite sculptures in 1991. This aligned sculpture with her artistic focus that explores drawing in all mediums.
  
  Early drawing machines as sculptures created a vocabulary of various unique drawing marks. Fluidly writing backward and forwards in all directions as a form mark making.
  
  Allowing paintings to defy gravity by creating works that can be hung in any direction.
