Loránd-Levente has studied linguistics, German, and Fenno-Ugric philology in Germany (Georg-August-Universität Göttingen) and Denmark (the universities of Aarhus and Copenhagen). Has also studied at the Royal School of Library and Information Science, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Loránd-Levente worked as a Research assistant Center Lexicography in Aarhus School Business, Aarhus University, Denmark, since 2007. Theme editor scholarly journal hermes, journal language & communication studies Aarhus School Business, since 2007.
Author of approx. 150 papers, articles, and reviews in Danish, German, English, and Hungarian academic journals, specialist journals, chapters in books, etc., inter alia published by the Oxford University Press, Walter De Gruyter, and Akadémiai Kiadó. Translator of several books from German and English into Danish; writer of several books, among others "Leksikon over ordbøger og leksika" (2nd edition 2011), i.e. a Danish dictionary of dictionaries and encyclopaedias. Co-founder and co-editor of the journal "Budstikken : nyt om dansk-nordisk sprog og sprogrøgt" (2007-2009), co-founder of Modersmålskredsen (2007-2009).
