Studied at Trinity College Dublin.
Career
Joined 62nd Regiment January 1855. Served with it in the trenches before Sebastopol and formed one of the stormers at the attack on the Redan, 8 September. Retired from Army, 1873, and joined the Militia force.
Commanded the I7tli Brigade on Jubilee day, 1887.
And Sth Provisional Battalion Belfast, 1901-1902. Honourable Colonel 6th Royal Fusiliers 29 May 1905.
Decorated for Crimean War (Crimean medal and clasps, Turkish medal). Companion of the Bath.
Jubilee medal. Reci"eations: riding, shooting, boating. Late Commanding 6th Battalion the Royal Fusiliers.
