Career

Began as salesman, Macy Company, Grand Rapids, 1900, and became sales manager. Organizer, 1915, and president The Covell-Hensen Company, advertising and printing. Enlisted as private Michigan National Guard, April 6, 1892.

Served as captain Company H, Michigan Vol. Infantry, Spanish-American War. Advanced to brigadier general Michigan National Guard, February 7, 1917.

Brigadier general N.A., August 5, 1917. Assigned as commander 63d Infantry Brigade, 32d Division. Honorary discharged, February 17, 1919.

Now manager Reynolds-Chrysler Company, Flint, Michigan.
