Career
Eavey was a homemaker until turning to writing, penning four children’s books with religious themes, including A Child's Shining Pathway to Christian Nursery Rhymes (1961); Poems for Children (1964); Happiness Rhymes for Children (1969); and her final book, Things to Enjoy: Poetry (1969). Eavey also contributed short pieces to Moody Monthly, a Christian magazine.
