  • Achievements include development of poly (ethylene terephthalate)-organoclay nanocomposites to allow this material to be used in bottle for carbonated beverages. Development of a novel generation of acrylic-based bone cements with improved mechanical and bioactive properties and better bonding to bone as an alternative to the commercial cements. Research in the field of biomaterials, natural origin materials and biodegradable polymers.
