Sold it in 1879; organized Exhaust Ventilator Company, 1881, and soon after another of same name in London. Afterwards sold lieutenant Has large real estate interests in Chicago, including the 18-story Fisher Building, built in 1897.
Large interests in mines, western real estate, and irrigation projects.
