Woodman, Lucy Rhodes was born on August 16, 1940 in Tryon, North Carolina, United States. Daughter of William Clarence and Ramona Edna (Brock) Rhodes.


Associate of Arts, Mars Hill College, 1960. Bachelor of Music, University North Carolina, Greensboro, 1962. Master of Music, University Colorado, 1965.


Teacher piano private practice, Wheatland & Cheyenne, Wyoming, since 1965. Instructor in pre-piano and adult piano Cheyenne Parks and Recreation Department, since 1999. Organist St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, Cheyenne, 1994—1999, First Congregational Church, Cheyenne, since 2007.

Adjunct teacher piano University Wyoming, Laramie, 1970-1974, staff accompanist, 1973-1974. Instructor Laramie County Community College. Performer/clinician Wyoming Artist Roster, 1992-1999.
