1912 graduate Electr Engineer Department, Saint St. Petersburg Poly tech Institute.
From 1914 traveled in France and Switzerland to study latesj techniques at electr power plants and electrified railroads. 1916-1918 exec work in connection with installing electr equipment at Revel naval fortress. From 1920 lecturer, associate professor, then professor, Chair of Electr Machinery, Leningrad Polytcch Institute.
1919-1929 also lectured at Naval Commanders College. 1922-1938 lectured at Naval Academy. 1925-1926 helped draft “Rules and Standards for Testing Electrical Machinery and Transformers".
1926-1928 worked at physical engineering laboratory, in charge of testing electr machinery for the “Elektrik” and “Elektrosila” plants. 1941 —45 worked for Uzbek Power System. From 1945 consultant, “Elektro” Plant, Leningrad and professor, Electr Engineer Faculty, Leningrad Polytech Institute.
1945-1947 head, Chair of Electr Engineer and Electr Machinery, Dzerzhinskiy Naval Engineer College. Wrote numerous books and textbooks on testing d.c. electr machinery and on electr equipment and transformers.
