Madhuri Rajeev Kanitkar

Madhuri Rajeev Kanitkar was born on the 15th October of 1960 in Dharwar, India; the daughter of Chandrakant Gopalrao and Hemalata Chandrakant Khot.

Education

In 1982, she received a degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India. In 1991 she graduated from Bombay University with a Doctor of Medicine degree in Pediatrics.

Career

From 1982-2005 Madhuri Kanitkar served a Lieutenant colonel at Indian military. From 1982-1987 she was a Medical officer at Army Medical College Hospital, Jodhpur, India and also in Mumbai, India, 1987-1991. Since 2001 she is an Associate professor at Armed Forces Medical College and Command Hospital, Pune.

Achievements

• He set up the India's first pediatric nephrology unit of Army Medical Corps.
