Malcolm Erskine Brannen, American violinist, conductor, educator. Served with U.S. Navy 1968-1972 as violin soloist with U.S. Navy Band, Washington, D.C. and as first violinist with U.S. Navy String Quartet. Retired professor from Grand Rapids Community College 2011. Authored several articles for professional journals.


Brannen, Malcolm Erskine was born on October 12, 1946 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, United States. Son of Weston Louis and Mabel Elizabeth (Robbins) Brannen.
