She is a disciple of Pint Girdhari Maharaj, an ICCR Kathak artiste and teacher cum performer for Interstate Commerce Commission centres at abroad. She has presented her art on various eminent platforms in India and abroad.
She started her training at Jaipur Kathak Kendra at a young age of Seven and received advanced qualifications in Kathak from reputed institutions of India.
She has qualified the National Eligibility Test conducted by University Grants Commission, India. She has presented research articles in the field of Indian classical music and has been dance instructor for Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and DPS Society Jaipur.Her Kathak recitals include platforms both nationally as well as internationally namely Bali Spirit Festival, Silk Roads Project Venice, Nanning International Festival China, Trufesta International Dance Festival Nigeria, Culturall Europe, OMI & High Point University United States of America and esteemed Kathak & Music festivals in India.

Manisha holds the National research fellowship, National scholarship both junior and senior from Government of India. She is also titled for merit scholarship from Jaipur Kathak Kendra. She was honoured OMI International Dance Residency award, United States of America in 2007, ISFI Gold Award by International Sufi Festival Ajmer in 2012 and Youth Icon Award 2014 in Arts at Jaipur, India. She is also a potential Kathak Artiste for Cirque De Soleil"s upcoming productions, Toronto and a graded artiste from Doordarshan, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Currently she is a research fellow under Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
