Manuel Pangilinan is a Filipino businessman. He founded First Pacific in 1981 and served as its Managing Director, then Executive Chairman, CEO and, finally, Managing Director. Within the First Pacific Group, Pangilinan holds the positions of President Commissioner of P.T. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, the largest food company in Indonesia. Pangilinan also serves as Chairman of Maynilad Water Services, Inc., Medical Doctors, Inc., etc.
Achievements
Manuel Pangilinan was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities by San Beda College and Xavier University in the Philippines in January 2002 and 2007, respectively
