In 1948 Ahmad Maqbool became MBBS graduate of Calcutta University. Then in 1953 he obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, in a year he got the same qualification in London.
Career
Maqbool worked in N.R.S. Medical College Hospitals and Islamia Hospital in Calcutta and was conferred the title of Honorary Visiting Surgeon. Later he became a physician of Indian Institute of Biochemistry and Experimental Medicines in Calcutta. He was also a member of Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Medical Association, Indian Science Congress Association, Managing Committee Islamia Hospital, Selection Committee of N.R.S. Hospitals.
