(Anyone exploring experiential and historical treatment of...)
Anyone exploring experiential and historical treatment of human potential and the Unconscious History of the Earth will be interested in this book. The intent of the Space Encounters series is to "break the umbilical cord that connects us to the single experience, of linearity, called Time." It encourages the reader's own intuition. Investigating unconscious "chaotic" threads of "Event" bytes, or quanta, the Space Encounters series, put together as through the loom of Penelope, follows the voyage of the Earth itself through passages of the past (put into modern light), to the docking point where some new principles emerge. Profuse with a special feature, which is the unprogrammed printouts that shifted the appearance of some pages on the screen, it has beautiful scans in black and white called "computer-PK." That is, mind through matter. Sometimes a fragment of a scan is finished on the next page - reading the two pages in reverse order. This book will require you to think. It is perfect for those who like inspirational, motivational New Thought (including popular Quantum Mechanics), plus artistic experimentation with presentation. Additionally, there is the out-of-the-ordinary spiritual experience. The book encourages each individual to explore his/her own potential and life experience, sometimes talking to the reader directly. It illustrates how to give up preconceptions when a major shift, surprise or opportunity for testing information personally comes along. Peak experiences, Exceptional Human Experience, Eastern mysticism and particle physics are all part of the modern consciousness, and in such a climate, Harrell illustrates how to fearlessly develop one's own individual vision and contribute one's hard-tested personal truth. Such a vision was lived, to produce this book series.

(This book of literary criticism is a good introduction to...)
This book of literary criticism is a good introduction to Faulkner. It follows motifs of recurring actions, such as unlikely as it sounds - "moving, burning, squatting, eating and ultimately marking." That is, the uses Faulkner makes of imagistic language to leave "milestones&" and "deathless footnotes." Through a close look at the recurring language, the author detects clusters of revelation about style, message, and how a symbol itself evolves. Some chapter titles are: "Thematics," "Movement,"Marks," "Malevolence," and "Impermanence." Suffuse with lively quotations from the books, the language is easily accessible yet closely researched. It has been recommended reading in university classes in Romania.

(All of the books by Margaret A. Harrell are experimental ...)
All of the books by Margaret A. Harrell are experimental in style but especially the Space Encounters books. There are many stimulating black-and-white scans of unprogrammed computer print outs ("PK") - one of a kind. These were carefully prepared for printing by hand, in a Romanian university. The pages unfold with "the unconscious history of the Earth," probing ever deeper and more profoundly into what lies beneath our surface consciousness. Everyone who likes to be stimulated and have their imaginations opened wide will enjoy this. Also, it is based on true experience and research. This book is a beautiful 8.5 x 11 size, perfect for a gift or coffeetable, but also engrossing to either read or browse through for new insights and impressions. A book of personal transformation that shares the tips with the reader. A collectible, limited first edition.
