Career
He plays the power forward position. He is the younger brother of Ante Delaš, also a basketball player, with whom he played for Split, Cedevita and the Croatia national basketball team Mario Delaš made his professional debut in KK Split during the 2006-2007 season.
In January 2010, he signed a contract with British Columbia Žalgiris for the next three-and-half seasons.
During season 2010-2011 he was loaned to KK Cibona and British Columbia Šiauliai. Most of the 2011-2012 season he spent on loan in the Žalgiris subsidiary British Columbia Baltai, returning to the Žalgiris team in March 2013.
He signed with Obradoiro Civil Aeronautics Board in the summer of 2013. On June 30, 2014, he signed a multi-year deal with Cedevita Zagreb.
In the first days of 2016, after spending first half of the season 2015/16 in Cedevita with out playing a single minute, he moved to the Estonian side Kalev/Cramo.
Delaš represented his national team in U-16, U-18, U-19 and U-20 competitions, winning bronze medals at the 2008 European U-18 Championship and at the 2009 World U-19 Championship. His first call-up for the senior Croatia national team came in 2013. He was part of the Croatian team that took 4th place at the 2013 European Championship, playing only a minor role in his team"s success.
