Since 1966 Mark Jacobs has been the owner of Foto-Tek Camera in his native city. He has also been writing books on photography for National Textbook Company since 1975. Jacobs' personal work, executed in black-and white large format, "is primarily directed at the illusion and reality of space and perception." As a researcher he is interested in the history of color processes.
