Mr. Webb left for the Hawaiian Islands early 1900. In Honolulu he met Walter L. Emory and in 1909 they entered into partnership for the practice of architecture. With an office in Honolulu the firm of Emory & Webb was actively engaged in the planning and erection of public and business structures in Honolulu, noted examples of which were the Hawaii Theatre; Union Trust Building; Blaisdell Hotel, addition to the Archives Building; Strauch Building, the Advertiser Publishing Company Building. The partners also designed the Cook Art Gallery building at the Panachou School, and Oahu College.
He had been a member of the A.I.A. since 1914 and a charter member of the Hawaii Chapter, elected President in 1930.
