1916 graduate Natural Sciences Department, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Petrograd University. 1925 graduate Leningrad Military Medical Academy.
1917-1918 taught chemical warfare defense techniques to military instructors in Petrograd. 1919-1920 taught hygiene in secondary schools. 1926-1929 postgraduate student, then assistant professor, Chair of General and Military Hygiene, Leningrad Military Medical Academy 1930-1935 assistant professor, Chair of Hygiene, 1st Leningrad Medical Institute, associate, Leningrad Institute of Child and Adolescent Care and lecturer, Leningrad Military Medical College.
1935-1955 assistant professor, then associate professor, Kuybyshev Military Medical Academy, then associate professor, Leningrad Military Medical Academy. 1955-1963 head, Chair of Hygiene, Leningrad Pediatric Medical Institute. Member, Learned Council, Institute of Radiation Hygiene.
Board member, Leningrad Branch, All-Russian Institute of Hygienists and Health Officers. Helped to build first Soviet desalination plant for underground salt water in Centr Asia. Wrote some 70 works on water-supply hygiene, food hygiene, clothing hygiene and the physical training of children and adolescents, including two hygiene textbooks for pediatric faculties.
