Martín studied at the University of Sonora in Hermosillo, Mexico from 1982 to 1988. He received a degree of the Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biological Sciences. He was a student of the Research Center for Food and Development in Hermosillo, Mexico where in 1991 Martín became a Master of Science of the Coordination of Technology in Vegetable´s Origin Food. In 1993 he studied at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, United States. In six years he received a degree of the Doctor of Philosophy in the department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. From 2007 to 2010 he studied at the Centro de Investigación y Entrenamiento en Psicoterapia Gestalt Fritz Perls in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. he became a Master in the field of the Gestalt Psychotherapy.
From 1991 to 1992 Martin worked as a Researcher at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. Also, from 1996 to 1999 He worked as a teaching asistant at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, United States. Right now, He is a Professor Researcher at the Research Center for Food and Development located at Hermosillo, México.
Martín Ernesto married to Silvia Yolanda Moya-Camarena in 1993. They have a child: Oscar Ernesto Tiznado-Moya.
