Hand, Maryanne Kelly was born on April 15, 1955 in Augusta, Georgia, United States. Daughter of Issac Marvin and Dorothy Whaley Kelly.


Associate of Arts in Graphic Design/Visual Communications, Art Institute Atlanta, 1974. Postgraduate, Georgia Southern University, Statesboro. Postgraduate, Georgia State University, Atlanta.


Teacher Episcopal Day School, Augusta, 1984—1991. Teacher art Augusta State University, 1993—2000. Private teacher sales and design Transatlantic Antiques, since 2002.
