After graduating from Ministry of Communications' Mail and Telegraph School joined the Ministry of Communications. When the Tokyo broadcasting station was founded, Masajiro Kitamura became chief of its technical department (1925), and did much to improve broadcasting conditions. Later in collaboration with Yuichi Torigata and Eitaro Yokoyama made valuable experiments in inaugurating a wireless telephone system. Also made research in metals and perfected the system known as TYK System.
