Masanori Iye, Japanese astronomy educator. British Council scholar, 1982; fellow European Southern Observatory, 1983; numerous research grants Ministry of Education, Science and Culture, 1984-1999, 2002-2010, Japan Society for Promotion of Science, 2005-2008.


Iye, Masanori was born on August 13, 1949 in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Son of Masaharu and Tomoko Iye.
