Masao Sanekata graduated from Law Department of Tohoku University (1930). Doctor of Law (since 1941).
Masao Sanekata served as lecturer and then assistant professor at his alma mater. Became assistant professor (1937) and then professor (1942) of Osaka Commercial University. Appointed professor at Law & Literature Department of Osaka Municipal University (1949). The same year assumed additional post of dean of students at the same university.
Holds additional post of professor of Kwansei Gakuin University, chairman of Kinki District Council of Japan League of Y.M.C.A. and chairman of Osaka Council of Nihon Gakusei Kyusaikai (Japan Students' Relief Society).
Books include Kin Yakkmron (On a Gold Clause), Kokusai Shiho Gairon (An Outline of the International Judicature), Shohd-gaku Gairon Soron (General Principles of Science of Commercial Law), Kaisha-ho-gaku (Science of Company Law) and Shoho (Commercial Law).
