Masaru Kuru received the Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1933. He was appointed professor of Kanazawa Medical University in Kanazawa Prefecture since 1940 and professor of Osaka University since 1945.
Masaru Kuru specially studied cancer and rendered extensive research concerning the substance on which stomach cancer, breast cancer and various cancer live and develop, and the preliminary conditions of cancer.
