Matvei Zinkevich, Belarusian chemist. Achievements include patents for oxygen-permeable ceramic material; development of original composite membrane that exhibited excellent tightness and stress resistance along with appreciable increase of oxygen permeability; discovery of several new strontium-bismuth-cobalt oxide phases; research on experimental and thermodynamic assessment of the systems Fe-Gd, Gd-Zr, Gd-Mo, and Fe-Gd-Missouri.
