Appointed consul at Santos, October 26, 1899, but did not serve. Consul at Magdeburg, Germany, 1900-1902, Cienfuegos, Cuba, 1902-1914.

Consul at Berne, Switzerland, 1914-1915. Attending to his business interests in Cuba, 1915-1922.

Became licensed real estate broker, Long Beach, California.

President of the board of trustees, Long Beach Morning Sun Public Company Home: Long Beach, California.
